The word parallel comes from the Greek parallēlos - which consists of para- ‘alongside’ and allēlos meaning ‘one another’.

Discipleship is walking alongside others on their journey towards Christ.

How do we do this? Help someone take their next step towards Jesus from their starting point not yours.
