Loved reading this - I too was one of those young people whose life was changed because of a summer camp (M:Powered). Couldn’t be more grateful for the sacrifices of Dave & Leah (& Rew & Tren) year after year to provide a place for ‘heaven to be on earth.’ Makes me ache with nostalgia thinking back to that time & pray that my own children have the same opportunity when they are old enough.

Ah Joy - this is so special to us. I can’t believe it’s been so long now - but I get emotional every time I think about it. It will forever be one of the highlights of my life serving with the team.

I still know exactly where dog tags are and I actually snuck the phrase "Joined together to serve Christ, His kingdom and His Church" into my wedding speech in reference to me and my wife :-)

It actually was stolen from a large bowl that was used by the covenant ministries apostolic team as a vessel to host communion.

Loved reading about your camp experiences-God is so good! Our annual camps have meant so much as well. ♥️Also-I spotted The Leah;)

Such an impactful time - after a week serving at Newday I have just been reflecting on the same things! Thank you for all you sowed into M:Powered and into our lives. Also…I’m sure I still have dog tag somewhere!!

I think I may have missed these camps. But I will never forget the life changing impact Backdraft/ignited had on my life. Great to see you and Leah continuing to pursue the call of God on your lives. Grateful for the legacy.
