Being an ambassador has a profound effect on the “who goals” that we set ourselves. If I see myself as a firefighter, I will take responsibility for running into the burning building, not away from it. In the same way, if I see myself as an ambassador, I will make sure I don't abdicate the role that God has given us to live, speak, and act on behalf of Christ. Our sense of identity drives our sense of personal responsibility.
